The Bakersfield Condors acquired rookie defenseman Francis Meilleur off waivers from the Greenville (S.C.) Road Warriors, the team announced Monday. Meilleur (pronounced may-YUR) is expected to play this week as the Condors have three games at home to conclude the regular season.
"We're excited to get him here," Condors coach Matt O'Dette said. "He was stuck in a situation with affiliated players and we're looking forward to seeing what he can do."
